Accommodation For our Nepal - The Himalayan Motorcycle tour

Please note that lodging along the Everest route, including Deurali and Patale, is more rustic and basic compared to hotels in Kathmandu or Chitwan. However, each accommodation is carefully selected to ensure that rooms are warm, clean, and equipped with essential facilities for a comfortable stay.

Electricity and hot water may occasionally be interrupted, especially during inclement weather — a reality of traveling in this remote mountainous region. Rather than a drawback, these small challenges are part of the unique adventure, adding to the charm of experiencing Nepal’s highlands authentically.

Despite the simplicity, staying in these family-run tea houses and lodges offers a genuine local experience, allowing you to connect with the environment, the people, and the Himalayan way of life in a way that luxury hotels cannot replicate. By nightfall, cozy bedding, warm meals, and stunning mountain views make it all worthwhile.

All inclusive Motor bike tour Nepal - The Himalayan Cuisine

breakfast

Breakfast during your Nepal motorcycle tour is simple, hearty, and always served hot — perfect fuel for a day in the Himalaya. Most mornings include freshly prepared eggs (fried, scrambled, or omelette), warm bread or chapati, and sometimes a comforting bowl of noodle or garlic soup, especially at higher altitudes where it helps with acclimatisation. You’ll often enjoy tea or fresh coffee alongside your meal, taken in small mountain lodges or family-run tea houses as the sun rises over the peaks.

LUNCH

Lunch is usually enjoyed at roadside lodges or local guesthouses along our guided motorcycle tour route. A popular choice is a fragrant rice dish such as chicken or vegetable biryani, served with seasonal vegetables and pickles. In more traditional settings, you may enjoy a lighter Nepali meal of rice, lentils, and curried vegetables. Meals are freshly cooked and satisfying — designed to keep you energised without slowing you down for the afternoon’s ride.

EVENING MEAL

Dinner is the main meal of the day and a chance to relax with the group after an epic day riding through Nepal. Most evenings feature a traditional Nepali Thali or the classic Dal Bhat — steamed rice served with lentil soup, seasonal vegetable curries, pickles, and sometimes chicken or goat. Dal Bhat is unlimited in many tea houses, meaning you can refill as much as you like — ideal after long mountain riding days.

Simple, nourishing, and packed with flavour, these meals are an authentic part of the Nepal motorcycle tour experience with Rams Adventure.

The Transport during our Nepal - The Himalayan Motorbike Tour

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

The Vibe: The original Himalayan’s smarter, stronger, high-altitude evolution.
Type: Adventure/Dual-Sport.
Best For: Riders who want serious touring comfort with real off-road ability, especially for Nepal’s highways and Himalayan trails.

Key Info:
The 450cc liquid-cooled Sherpa engine is a major upgrade over the old 411—more power, smoother cruising, and better overtaking on highways like the Prithvi or East-West. It handles altitude far better thanks to fuel injection and improved engine tuning.

The suspension is long-travel and confidence-inspiring for rough terrain—ideal for rocky climbs, river crossings, and broken rural roads. It’s heavier than a lightweight dual-sport, but much more stable for long-distance touring with luggage. Switchable ABS is useful for dirt descents.

Nepal Context:
This bike fits Nepal extremely well. Whether you’re riding in Kathmandu traffic, riding over the Lamjura Pass, or touring to Chitwan, the Himalayan 450 is built for these conditions.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 411

The Vibe: A simple, rugged mountain workhorse.
Type: Adventure/Dual-Sport.
Best For: Riders in Nepal who want a dependable, comfortable bike for highways and rough backroads.

Key Info:
The 411cc air-oil cooled engine focuses on torque over speed—great for hill climbs and loaded touring. The long-travel suspension handles broken roads and gravel well, though the bike feels heavy on tight trails. Built more for steady adventure riding than aggressive off-road.

Nepal Context:
Very common across Nepal, especially in Kathmandu and onwards Chitwan. Parts and mechanics are easy to find compared to imported bikes, making it a practical choice for mountain touring and remote travel. Geared slightly different to the 450cc making it a bike with plenty of torque.
