All inclusive Motor bike tour Ireland - Castles, Coastlines and the Craic Cuisine

breakfast

An Irish breakfast is the perfect way to prepare for a day on the bike. Similar to a full English but with a few distinctly Irish additions, it’s a hearty meal designed to keep you going for hours.

Alternatively, there will be a good supply of fresh smoked fish and eggs, toast, fruit and pastries.

A big cup of tea or coffee with plenty of juice if you need.

LUNCH

Lunches are all part of the adventure. Most days, our support team will prepare a fresh picnic lunch from the support vehicle, allowing us to make the most of the spectacular scenery and enjoy some of the hidden spots that many visitors never discover.

We’ll stop at scenic viewpoints, quiet beaches, sheltered harbours and picturesque picnic locations, where you can relax, stretch your legs and take in the incredible surroundings. Expect a selection of fresh salads, local produce, sandwiches and Ireland’s famous floury baps filled with a variety of tasty fillings.

On some days, we’ll also take advantage of the excellent cafés, delis and village bakeries found along the route, giving you the chance to sample local specialities and enjoy a coffee while watching Irish life go by.

It’s a relaxed and flexible approach to lunch that keeps us riding, exploring and making the most of everything Southern Ireland has to offer.

EVENING MEAL

After a day exploring the spectacular roads and coastlines of Southern Ireland, the evenings are a chance to relax, enjoy good company and sample some of the country’s outstanding food.

Ireland’s coastal location means fresh seafood features heavily on many menus. A particular favourite is traditional Irish seafood chowder, a rich, creamy soup packed with locally caught fish, salmon, mussels and prawns, usually served with freshly baked brown soda bread.

It’s the perfect comfort food after a day in the saddle and is found in pubs, restaurants and harbourside eateries throughout the south-west.

After exploring the headland and taking in the views from the famous bridge and signal station, we make our way to our hotel for the evening. We begin by tracing the dramatic coastline of the Beara Peninsula in County Cork, where sheltered bays reveal crystal-clear waters and long stretches of untouched white sand. This is Ireland at its most raw and beautiful, with quiet roads winding between sea and mountain, offering unforgettable riding throughout the morning.

Continuing along the route, we reach the charming seaside village of Waterville, a place long associated with the great Charlie Chaplin. He was a frequent visitor here, and the town still honours his connection with a statue overlooking the Atlantic, a fitting tribute in one of Ireland’s most picturesque coastal settings.
