Karst Rider to Ha Long Bay - Vietnam Motorcycle tours our ADVENTURE
Hanoi & The Northern Frontier
Your Vietnam motorbike tour begins in the electric energy of Hanoi. Stay in the bustling Old Quarter, sample unforgettable street food, explore vibrant night markets, and visit the haunting remains of the downed B-52 bomber resting in a city lake.
That evening, board the classic overnight sleeper train to Lao Cai near the Chinese border. By morning, your true motorbike adventure into the mountains begins, setting the tone for an unforgettable journey through Northern Vietnam.
Sa Pa & Ba Bể National Park
Ride through the breathtaking mountain landscapes of Sa Pa on this Vietnam motorbike tour, where ethnic hill tribe communities bring vibrant colour and tradition to highlands. Winding mountain passes, cloud-wrapped peaks, and roads carved into rock faces provide some of the most dramatic and unforgettable riding in the region.
Further east, explore Ba Be National Park, home to Vietnam’s largest natural lake. Surrounded by rainforest, waterfalls and fascinating cave systems, it’s a spectacular setting for adventure. Take in panoramic views from above or visit lakeside temples such as An Ma Temple, combining natural beauty and cultural immersion on this unforgettable motorbike journey.
Ha Long Bay – Limestone Legends
No RAMS Adventures motorbike tour is complete without experiencing the magic of Ha Long Bay. Emerald waters dotted with thousands of towering limestone karsts create one of the world’s most mesmerising seascapes. Cruise through hidden caves, glide past floating fishing villages and soak in the serene beauty of this unesco World Heritage Site, the perfect finale to an unforgettable Northern Vietnam motorbike adventure.

Trip Advisor Reviews
Exceeded all expectations, a true adventure (Oct 2024)
Exceeded all expectations. One of the best tours I’ve been on. Very professional yet friendly tour team. Everything covered from the very start to the end with some very nice unexpected surprises during the tour. Will definitely consider another tour with them in the future.
Unbelievable life experience (Sep 2024)
I have just finished the Vietnam Explorer with my son. We have had the time of our lives, the views, the locations, the experience. Dave and his team have been unbelievable from booking all the way through to the riding. Nothing troubles him — the typhoon, no problem, the land slides, no problem. I cannot recommend RAMS enough and will no doubt book through them for other adventures.
Happy Water! — Hanoi to HCM (Mar 2024)
The Hanoi–HCM trip offered everything from great accommodation and food to incredible varied terrains for motorbiking. Dave and Leah ensured everyone was taken care of and having paramedics onsite offered added reassurance. Suitable for both novice and experienced riders — it ticked all the boxes.
Vietnam March 2024
From the start Leah organised all the best flight times which put my mind at rest. From arrival, the organisation, food and accommodation was exceptional. The Vietnam trip took me to all the sights I’d wanted to see from the Vietnamese war and the guide from Dave and the team was superb. I would confidently recommend RAMS to anyone — a trip of a lifetime.
